The Gas Industry Museum in Paczków is housed in the former municipal gasworks of 1902. It is the only facility in Poland where the equipment for producing town gas has been preserved in its entirety, and the only such facility in Europe with a complete technological line for producing gas from coal.
The Paczków gasworks was built in 1902. After town gas production ended, the equipment was preserved in full, making the facility a unique witness to the old gas-production technology.
