Dychów Hydroelectric Power Station

The Dychów Hydroelectric Power Station is a historic, still-operating hydropower facility in the Lubusz Voivodeship, among the oldest technical monuments of its kind in Poland. It is part of a complex of hydrotechnical structures on the Bóbr River.

History

The entire complex of hydrotechnical structures in Dychów was built in 1933-1936. The complex included the power station in Dychów, reservoirs in Dychów and Krzywaniec, a weir in Krzywaniec and a small power station in nearby Raduszec Stary. The energy produced in Dychów once supplied Berlin.
