The Krutynia is one of the most beautiful lowland canoeing routes in Poland and Europe, running through the Masurian Lakeland. The route is about 116 km long, leading from Sorkwity to Ruciane-Nida (Lake Nidzkie).
The route runs through the Masurian Landscape Park and nature reserves, including the Krutynia and Krutynia Dolna reserves. The central village of the route is Krutyń.
The route combines river, lake and forest sections; along the way lie Babięta, Spychowo, Zgon, Wojnowo, Ukta and Iznota. The river is distinguished by exceptionally clean water.
An easy and safe route, suitable for families with children and beginners.
Trips organised during the spring-summer-autumn season; specific hours depend on the operator.
Start and end points in the villages of Sorkwity, Krutyń, Ukta and Ruciane-Nida.
