Museum of Power Engineering in Łaziska Górne

The museum opened in 2003 in the building of a former 60 kV electrical switchgear station from 1928, on the grounds of the Łaziska Power Plant. It is the only exhibition in the region devoted to the history of power engineering and electricity. It is a stop on the Industrial Monuments Route of the Silesian Voivodeship.

Collection

  • About 6 thousand exhibits - from transformers to machines and measuring instruments
  • Experiment hall (ISKROWISKO) with Tesla coils
  • Possibility of touring the power plant in organised groups
