Museum of Metallurgy of the Mała Panew Valley in Ozimek

The museum opened in December 2012 on the initiative of the Mała Panew Valley Association, in the office building of the Małapanew Ironworks - the oldest ironworks in Polish lands (founded 1754). The exhibitions present the history of metallurgy in the Mała Panew valley from antiquity to modern times.

• Models of the ironworks settlement from 1769 and 1854
• Miniature of the cast-iron suspension bridge from 1827
• Medal of the Royal Ironworks in Ozimek from the Industrial Exhibition in London (1851)

Historic suspension bridge

In the immediate vicinity of the museum stands a cast-iron chain suspension bridge over the Mała Panew from 1827 - the oldest preserved structure of this type in the world, recognised as a Monument of History.
