A historic hydroelectric power plant on the Wda river, built under the direction of Prof. Alfons Hoffmann in a record time of 18 months and put into operation in February 1930 by President Ignacy Mościcki. Together with the Gródek power plant, it forms a valuable complex of hydrotechnical monuments.
