A stone dam on the Bystrzyca River built between 1912 and 1914, with a power plant completed in 1917. The dam is 44 m high and 230 m long along the crest, forming Lake Bystrzyckie. The power plant is located about 1 km from the dam and connected by a pipeline 1.8 m in diameter. A more than century-old monument of technology with almost unchanged equipment.
The dam crest is open for visiting; the interior of the power plant is available to organised groups after obtaining permission.
