Museum of Ancient Świętokrzyskie Metallurgy in Nowa Słupia

A museum built on the site where the remains of bloomery furnaces from the 1st-3rd centuries AD were discovered. Some 2,000 years ago the Nowa Słupia region was one of the largest metallurgical centres in this part of Europe, where iron was smelted in bloomeries. The exhibition presents the bloomery process and its products.
