Gliwice Radio Tower

A complex of a former broadcasting radio station whose antenna tower, nearly 111 m high, is the tallest wooden structure in Europe. The mast was built of Siberian larch beams joined with brass screws; construction was completed in 1935. Since 2005 a branch of the Museum in Gliwice has operated in the transmitter building. In 2017 the site was added to the list of Monuments of History.
