Beer-brewing traditions in Lwówek Śląski date back to 1209, when the town received its town charter and the privilege to brew beer from Henry I the Bearded. The Museum of Brewing operates at the brewery - the only such place in Lower Silesia, opened in 2010.
The museum is located at ul. Traugutta 7 in Lwówek Śląski.
Nearly 400 exhibits documenting the history of brewing, collections of bottles and closures from about 40 former Lower Silesian breweries, and an original beer-cooling refrigerator from 1905.
For adult lovers of brewing history (only adults may take the tour).
