The Fortuna Steam Brewery was founded in 1889 on the initiative of Władysław Rabski, although brewing traditions in Miłosław date back to the 17th century. Reclaimed in 1995 by the heirs of the pre-war owners and reopened in 1997. It belongs to the Association of Regional Breweries of Poland.
Fortuna specialises in dark, aromatic beers: Czarne (Black), Wiśniowe (Cherry), Miodowe (Honey). The brewery uses traditional open fermentation vats - a rarity on a European scale.
