Okocim Brewery in Brzesko

One of the oldest brewing plants in Poland, founded in 1845 by Jan Ewangelista Goetz and Józef Neumann; the first brew was in February 1846. The urban and architectural complex of the brewery is among the most interesting monuments of Lesser Poland - preserved elements include the old malthouse (1875), the old and new brewhouses, a neo-Gothic tower with a well, and the Goetz residence. Since 1996 the main shareholder has been Carlsberg.

Chamber of Tradition

The Old Palace houses the Brewery's Chamber of Tradition with photographs of the Goetz family, plant archives, and a collection of bottles and advertising posters.
