Lefevre Sheep Farm

An ecological sheep farm in Kiersztanowo (Jeziorany commune), about 40 km north-east of Olsztyn, run by a Polish-French family. The flock numbers about 70 Lacaune sheep. The cheeses are made according to traditional French recipes.

  • sheep cheeses: from fresh Camembert-type to hard, long-ripened Pecorino Romano-type
  • ash-coated sheep cheese (pyramid) - awarded at the Cheese Time festival in Lidzbark Warmiński
