The Market Hall on Piaskowa Street is a historic market hall built between 1908 and 1909 to a design by Richard Plüdemann, a building councillor of Wrocław. It is distinguished by its, for the time, modern reinforced-concrete structure based on parabolic arches.
It is located at 17 Piaskowa Street on Piasek Island, near Ostrów Tumski.
Here you can buy fresh fish, meat and cold cuts from local producers, domestic and imported fruit and vegetables, bread and confectionery, and flowers. There are also clothing stalls and small services: shoemaker, leather worker, watchmaker, hairdresser.
For residents, tourists and architecture lovers.
Open all year: Mon-Sat 8:00-18:30, closed on Sundays.
