The historic Market Hall on Dominican Square in the Main Town was built between 1894 and 1896 (opened on 3 August 1896) to a design by Kurt Fehlhaber, in order to concentrate street trade in one place. It has three naves, a height of 15 m and an area of about 4,714 m2.
Located at 1 Dominican Square, in the strict centre of Gdańsk. During renovation, the foundations of the Romanesque Church of St. Nicholas, among other things, were discovered here.
The hall has three trading levels: on the first floor food stalls and the displayed archaeological discoveries, on the upper floors - manufactured goods and services.

Open all year: Mon-Fri 8:00-18:00, Sat 8:00-15:00.
