Górniak Market Hall

The Górniak Market Hall was built between 1932 and 1934 to a design by architect Paweł Sperr, in the Górna district of Łódź, so that trade could take place in more hygienic conditions. The history of trade in this area dates back to 1825 (the former Górny Rynek).

Location and surroundings

It is located at 317 Piotrkowska Street, adjoining Independence Square to the west.
