A triangular market square in Kraków located in District I Old Town, in Kleparz, between Długa Street and Juliusza Słowackiego Avenue. It was created at the beginning of the 20th century, when the city authorities planned to close the market at Stary Kleparz and established a new market square.
A place of trade primarily in food products: dairy, home-grown fruit and vegetables, and traditional cold cuts. The pride of the square are flowers and handcrafted wicker products.
An important interchange hub of public transport (buses and trams).
