Karczma Zapiecek is a regional restaurant located in the very heart of Zakopane's Krupówki, serving dishes prepared according to traditional recipes of the Podhale and Old Polish cuisine.
The venue is located at 43 Krupówki Street, the main promenade of Zakopane. In the middle of the room stands a whitewashed highlander stove, surrounded by old everyday objects of the highlanders (old clocks, irons, lamps).
The menu includes, among others, grilled oscypek cheese with bacon, kwaśnica sour cabbage soup on mutton and wild mushrooms, and a neck steak with grilled oscypek.

A restaurant with the historic character of a highlander inn, with a highlander band playing live from Monday to Friday from 6:00 p.m.
