Dolina Biebrzy - kayaking trips on the Biebrza

The Dolina Biebrzy Agritourism Centre, based in Wroceń near Goniądz in the middle section of the Biebrza waterway, organises kayak and raft trips in the heart of the Biebrza National Park - the largest complex of lowland peat bogs in Central Europe. The trip is a journey deep into a marshland ecosystem inhabited by hundreds of species of water and wetland birds.

Character of the river

The Biebrza (164 km), a right-bank tributary of the Narew, flows through the vast marshes and peat bogs of the Biebrza National Park.

Routes

  • One-day: 6-20 km (Dolistowo-Wroceń, Wroceń-Goniądz, Wroceń-Osowiec Fortress)
  • Weekend: 38 km over 2 days
  • 8-day trip along the entire trail (Lipsk - Ruś)

Cost

One-day 50-60 PLN/person; weekend approx. 270 PLN/person; entry ticket to the Biebrza National Park 8 PLN (4 PLN reduced).
