Kajaki Mikaszówka - the Czarna Hańcza and the Augustów Canal

Kajaki Mikaszówka is a kayak rental and trip organiser in the heart of the Augustów Primeval Forest, on the crystal-clear Czarna Hańcza river and the Augustów Canal. The Czarna Hańcza is one of the cleanest rivers in Poland - visibility reaches a depth of 2 m.

Character of the trail

The trip combines the meandering Czarna Hańcza with the historic Augustów Canal and its locks.

  • Dworczysko - Mikaszówka: ~12 km (4-5 h)
  • Frącki - Mikaszówka: ~25 km (7-8 h)
  • Individual routes on request

Cost and hours

1-person kayak 70-80 PLN/day, 2-person 100-120 PLN, 3-person 150 PLN; lock passage 6 PLN/kayak. Open daily 8:00-21:00 (seasonally).
