The Bolimów Forest (Puszcza Bolimowska) is a compact woodland complex stretching between Skierniewice, Łowicz, Bolimów and Żyrardów, protected within the Bolimów Landscape Park (established in 1986; area with buffer zone approx. 23,614 ha).
It lies on the border of the Łódź and Masovian voivodeships. The north-eastern part is in the Masovian Voivodeship (municipalities of Puszcza Mariańska, Wiskitki), and the south-western part in the Łódź Voivodeship (municipalities of Bolimów, Nieborów, Skierniewice, Kowiesy, Nowy Kawęczyn).
The tree stands consist mainly of pine forests with an admixture of oak and hornbeam in the undergrowth.
For weekend visitors from the Łódź and Warsaw metropolitan areas.
A year-round destination.
By car; convenient access from Bolimów and Skierniewice.
