Lower Silesian Forest

The Lower Silesian Forest (Bory Dolnośląskie) is the largest continuous woodland complex in Poland, covering more than 1,650 km², and one of the largest in Central Europe. It stretches across the Silesian-Lusatian Lowland, from the Lusatian Neisse in the west to the Bóbr in the east.

Location and surroundings

It lies on the border of the Lower Silesian and Lubusz voivodeships. In the west it borders the Lusatian Neisse, beyond which, in Germany, lies the Muskau Heath.

Natural attractions
