The Goleniów Forest is a compact woodland complex with an area of about 630 km², situated on the Goleniów Plain, east of Lake Dąbie and the Szczecin Lagoon. It lies mainly in the Goleniów County, with its edges reaching into the Kamień and Stargard counties and the city of Szczecin.

Coniferous forests cover about 80% of the area – pine accounts for about 77%, spruce about 3%. Deciduous trees (about 20%) are chiefly beech and alder.

Within the forest there are nature reserves including Czarnocin, Białodrzew Kopicki, Olszanka and Cisy Rokickie. Two Natura 2000 areas have been designated here: the "Goleniów Forest" bird area and the "Goleniów Refuge" habitat area.
