The Ueckermünde Heath is an extensive transboundary woodland complex with a total area of about 1,550 km², of which about 337 km² (22%) lies on the Polish side. The Polish part extends across the municipalities of Szczecin, Police, Nowe Warpno and Dobra Szczecińska, in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship.
It forms part of the "Szczecin Forests" Promotional Forest Complex (alongside the Bukowa and Goleniów forests). It consists mainly of pine forests with an admixture of deciduous trees and numerous wetland areas.
The area is accessible year-round, admission is free.
