Darżlubie Forest

The Darżlubie Forest is the northernmost compact forest and nature complex in Poland, situated on the Kashubian Coast, on the border of the Puck and Wejherowo counties (Pomeranian Voivodeship), between Wejherowo, Puck and Żarnowiec. Its area is about 15,908 ha.

Tree stand and protection

The most characteristic species is beech, alongside pine and oak. Within the forest there are the nature reserves "Darżlubskie Buki" and "Źródliska Czarnej Wody". It is the source area of the Piaśnica and Gizdepka rivers. It constitutes a Natura 2000 area.
