The Cisów-Orłowiny Forests are protected within the Cisów-Orłowiny Landscape Park (established on 10 June 1988), with an area of 207.06 km² and a buffer zone of 237.48 km², in the eastern part of the Świętokrzyskie Mountains. These are compact complexes of fir forests and beech woods on the Cisów and Orłowiny ranges.
The area contains the Natura 2000 habitat refuge "Lasy Cisowsko-Orłowińskie" (PLH260040) and nature reserves protecting natural fir-beech tree stands.
The area is accessible year-round, free entry.
