The Kozienice Forest is a vast forest complex on the border of Masovia and Lesser Poland, in the fork of the ancient valleys of the Vistula and the Radomka. Its core is protected by the Kozienice Landscape Park, and since 1994 the "Kozienice Forest" Forest Promotion Complex has operated (over 30,000 ha, Kozienice, Radom and Zwoleń forest districts).
The forest is famous for its natural fir and pine forests and a dense network of educational trails. The black stork and white-tailed eagle nest here, among others.
The area is accessible year-round, free entry. Educational trails.
