The Chojnów Forests form a woodland complex to the south and south-west of Warsaw, on the left bank of the Vistula, lying almost entirely within Piaseczno County. The forest area of the Chojnów Forest District covers around 10,389 ha. Pine dominates the tree stand (74.1%), mixed with oak, birch and alder.
The core of the complex is protected by the Chojnów Landscape Park (established in 1993, 6,796 ha, buffer zone 4,727 ha), covering the Jeziorka valley and the Vistula escarpment.
The area is accessible year-round, admission free. Close to Warsaw.
