The Kurpie Forest, also known as the Green Forest (formerly Zagajnica), is a once-vast complex of pine woods in the Narew valley, in the Ostrołęka County (Mazovian Voivodeship). Today it survives in the form of separate woodland complexes. It is the cradle of Kurpie culture, with pine forests on sandy terrain and numerous peat bogs.
The area is accessible year-round, admission free.
