The Bydgoszcz Forest is one of the largest and most compact woodland complexes of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, stretching south of Bydgoszcz and Toruń, in the Vistula ice-marginal valley. Poor, sandy soils were unfavourable for agriculture, which allowed the forest to preserve its natural character with vast pine woods and inland dunes.
The area is accessible year-round, admission free.
