Rzepin, powiat słubicki, województwo lubuskie
The Rzepin Forest (also known as the Lubusz Forest) is an extensive woodland complex in the Lubusz Voivodeship, between the Oder, Warta and Obra rivers. Pine monocultures dominate here (about 94.5% of the area) on poor, sandy outwash plains, mixed with beech, oak and black alder in the river valleys and by the lakes.
Nature reserves have been established in the forest, including "Ilanka Valley", protecting the picturesque valley of the Ilanka river.
The area is accessible year-round, admission free. Canoeing routes (the Ilanka).
