Szprotawa / Małomice, powiat żagański, województwo lubuskie
The woodlands around Szprotawa and Małomice (Żagań County, Lubuskie Voivodeship) form the north-eastern part of the vast Lower Silesian Woodlands complex. These are extensive pine woodlands on sandy terrain, with fragments of riparian forests in the valleys of the Bóbr and Szprotawa rivers. The "Chrobry" oak - one of the oldest oaks in Poland - grows here.
The area is accessible year-round, admission free.
