The Zgorzelec Wilderness is part of the vast Lower Silesian Woodlands, stretching between the Lusatian Neisse and the Czerna Wielka rivers, covering an area of about 30,000 ha. It consists mainly of dense pine woodlands on flat, sandy terrain with patches of peat bogs and wetlands in south-western Poland.
The area is accessible year-round, admission free.
