Milicz Forests

The Milicz Forests are a forest complex in Milicz County in Lower Silesia, extending from Młyńska Woda (a tributary of the Barycz) to Żmigród, over a length of about 28 km and a width of up to 8 km. Mixed forests grow here - pine, spruce, oak, hornbeam, beech, birch and ash. The forests are famous among mushroom pickers.

Surroundings

The forests border the "Barycz Valley" Landscape Park, one of the most valuable bird areas in Poland (the Milicz Ponds).
