Turawa / Strzelce Opolskie, województwo opolskie
The Stobrawa-Turawa Forests are the largest protected landscape area in the Opole Voivodeship, being a remnant of the former Silesian Wilderness. The area was established by a resolution of the Provincial National Council in Opole on 26 May 1988. Well-preserved, diverse forests occur here, with valuable fragments of oak-ash riparian forests, alluvial forests and alder carrs in the periodically flooded valleys.
The area is accessible year-round, admission free.
