The Bircza Forests are a mountain woodland complex in the Subcarpathian Voivodeship, near the border with Ukraine, covering 298.6 km² (forests 276 km², forest cover 61.9%), in the municipalities of Bircza, Fredropol, Dubiecko, Krzywcza and Ustrzyki Dolne. The tree stand is dominated by fir (33%), pine (32%) and beech (24%).
Since 2001 it has functioned as a Promotional Forest Complex (RDLP Krosno). The area contains 2 landscape parks (Przemyśl Foothills and Słonne Mountains) as well as 8 nature reserves (1,532 ha) and a Natura 2000 bird refuge. Bears, wolves and lynxes live here.
The area is open year-round, admission free.
