Łagiewniki Forest

The Łagiewniki Forest is a forest complex of over 1200 ha in the northern part of Łódź - one of the largest forest complexes located within a city's boundaries in Europe. It lies at the northern limit of the range of fir, spruce, sycamore and beech, which accounts for the richness of its forest communities.

Nature protection

It is protected by the "Las Łagiewnicki" nature reserve. Historic chapels stand within the forest, and the Łódź Hills Landscape Park lies nearby.
