Rowokół (115 m), Słowiński Park Narodowy, gmina Smołdzino, powiat słupski, woj. pomorskie
Rowokół (114.8 m above sea level) is a moraine hill within the Słowiński National Park, in the Smołdzino municipality (Słupsk County, Pomeranian Voivodeship), about 6 km from the Baltic Sea. It is a terminal moraine formed during the Scandinavian glaciations.
At the top there is an observation tower (open from May to September), offering a view of Smołdzino and the Gardno and Łebsko lakes. Rowokół was once an important navigation point for Baltic sailors.
Originally protected as a nature reserve (since 1984), it now functions as an enclave of the national park (the "Rowokół" wilderness). In the past there was a Marian sanctuary and an early medieval stronghold here.
An easily accessible viewpoint, a good family destination while visiting the Słowiński National Park.
