Mogielica (1,170.2 m a.s.l.) is the highest peak of the Beskid Wyspowy, belonging to the Crown of Polish Mountains. On the summit stands an observation tower approx. 20 m high (opened in 2008, reopened in 2022).
In 2011 the Mogielica nature reserve (50.44 ha) was established to protect rare birds, including the capercaillie and black grouse.
Year-round; in winter the longest cross-country ski trail in Lesser Poland (approx. 23 km).
