Zbójecka Cave in Łopień

A landslide (pseudokarst) cave on the northern slope of Łopień in the Beskid Wyspowy - one of the largest caves of the Polish Carpathian flysch. It houses one of the largest populations of the lesser horseshoe bat in Poland.

  • An important bat hibernation site - access to the interior may be periodically closed

Getting there

By the trail to Łopień; the entrance on the northern slope of the mountain.

Seasonality: access usually restricted in winter (bat protection)
