Komoniecki Cave

A cave in the eastern part of the Little Beskids, within the Little Beskids Landscape Park, on the southern slopes of Smrekowica, about 750 m above sea level, in the spring area of the Dusica stream.

Overview

  • A large chamber with an area of about 115 sq m
  • A convenient entrance about 15 m wide and about 2 m high - can be visited without a torch
  • Shallow, without passages or drops - safe

History

Discovered for tourism in May 1983 by Aleksy Siemionow.
