Ukiel (colloquially Krzywe) is the largest lake within the boundaries of Olsztyn (Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship), located in the north-western part of the city. It consists of four basins connected by straits.
Area of about 412 ha, maximum depth about 43 m, average about 10.6 m, shoreline about 22.5 km. The shores are mostly high, steep and wooded. On the lake there is a municipal recreational and sports centre with beaches.
