Lake Drawsko

Location and surroundings

Lake Drawsko lies in the Drawsko Lake District in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, near Czaplinek (Drawsko County), within the Drawa Landscape Park. It is the largest and deepest lake in this park.

Natural features

Area of about 1,871.5 ha, maximum depth about 79.7 m - one of the deepest lakes in Poland. A strongly developed shoreline (about 76 km), 13 small islands and the large island of Bielawa (about 79.5 ha). The park protects a valuable part of the Drawsko Lake District with rich birdlife.
