Jamno is a coastal lake in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, in Koszalin County (municipality of Mielno), about 6 km north of Koszalin. A narrow spit separates it from the Baltic; a channel (Jamieński Nurt) connects it with the sea.
One of the largest coastal lakes of the Polish coast, with an area of about 22 km². A shallow lake (average depth about 1.4 m), of a slightly brackish character resulting from the periodic mixing of salt and fresh water.
For water sports enthusiasts, cruises and seaside recreation in the vicinity of Mielno.
In season, excursion boats operate; water equipment rentals and marinas are available.
