Suwałki Landscape Park

The oldest landscape park in Poland, established in 1976 in the Suwałki Lakeland. It protects the young-glacial, post-glacial landscape of the Suwałki region, with moraine hills, eskers, boulder fields and lakes.

Location and surroundings

The park lies in north-eastern Poland, in the Podlaskie Voivodeship, north of Suwałki. The headquarters is housed in an almost 100-year-old miller's house in Turtul (Malesowizna).
