Checiny-Kielce Landscape Park

A landscape park protecting parts of the Swietokrzyskie Mountains and the Checiny Range, known for its wealth of karst and geological phenomena.

Location and surroundings

The park covers, among others, the areas around Checiny, Raj Cave, Tokarnia and Podzamcze Checinskie, in the Swietokrzyskie Voivodeship.

  • Raj Cave - one of the most valuable karst sites in Poland (corridors approx. 240 m, tourist route approx. 180 m), with rich dripstone formations
  • Neanderthal Centre next to the cave
