Sierakow Landscape Park

A park established in 1991 over an area of more than 30,000 ha, protecting the post-glacial landscape of part of the Miedzychod-Sierakow Lake District, about 60 km north-west of Poznan.

Location and surroundings

The park lies in the western part of the Greater Poland Voivodeship, mainly in the Miedzychod county.

What to see / Natural values

  • 52 post-glacial lakes (the largest, Lake Chrzypskie - 304 ha, the deepest, Lake Sremskie - approx. 45 m)
  • Viewpoints: Gora Glazow above Sierakow, the Lezeczki viewpoint
  • The Kwilecki Palace by the lake in Kwilcz
