Góra Św. Anny Landscape Park

One of the smaller landscape parks in Poland (established in 1988), covering 5,051 ha and protecting the unique geological values of the volcanic Góra Św. Anny.

Location and surroundings

The park lies in the south-central part of the Opole Voivodeship. Since 2010 the area has held the status of a National Geopark.

What to see / Natural highlights

  • A geological site of volcanic rocks (nephelinites)
  • The rock amphitheatre and the Krowiok Valley
  • The Biesiec and Ligota Dolna reserves (xerothermic grasslands)
  • A 10 km geological path with 11 sites
