Silesian Beskids Landscape Park

Established in 1998, the park covers a significant part of the Silesian Beskids range (Western Carpathians), with an area of over 38,000 ha.

Location and surroundings

The park lies in the Silesian Voivodeship. The main tourist bases are Szczyrk, Wisła and Ustroń.

What to see / Natural highlights

  • Skrzyczne (1,257 m a.s.l.) - the highest peak of the Silesian Beskids
  • The Czantoria range and Barania Góra
  • Flysch caves (including the Ice Cave in Szczyrk and the Mokra Cave)
  • Numerous trails and mountain shelters
