Romincka Forest Landscape Park

A park on the borderland of Masuria and the Suwałki region, in the northernmost corner of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, covering 14,620 ha.

Location and surroundings

The park stretches between Gołdap and Żytkiejmy. The management is located in Żytkiejmy, with educational halls and the exhibition "Wetlands of the Romincka Forest".

What to see / Natural highlights

  • The Stańczyki Bridges - remnants of a former railway line (about 200 m long, 36.5 m high), now serving as viewing terraces
  • Unique flora: blueberry willow, dwarf birch, cloudberry, martagon lily
